This policy explains what information Casero Taqueria (“we”) collects through caserotaqueria.com and how we use it. We keep it simple: we collect only what we need to serve you.
What we collect
- Reservations: name, email, phone, party size, date/time and any notes you share.
- Online orders and gift cards: name, email, phone, order details, delivery address (if any) and gift card recipient details. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- Catering, event and contact inquiries: the details you enter in the form.
- Casero VIP: name, email and — if you choose — phone, birthday and anniversary.
- Job applications: contact details, experience and any résumé you upload.
How we use it
To confirm and manage your reservation, prepare your order, respond to inquiries, send VIP news you signed up for, and review applications. We do not sell your personal information.
Email and text messages
Transactional emails (confirmations, receipts, order updates) are sent as part of the service you requested. Marketing emails and texts are sent only to VIP members who opted in; every email includes an unsubscribe option, and you can reply STOP to any text.
Cookies
The public website doesn't use advertising cookies. Your cart is saved in your browser's local storage so it isn't lost if you refresh. Staff sign-in uses a secure session cookie.
Retention and security
We keep records as long as needed for the purposes above and for legal and accounting requirements. Access to our admin system is restricted to authorized staff.
Your California privacy rights
